Chris Govan, MAcc, CA
A graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Accountancy School, Chris earned his BA in Accounting and his MAcc in 1993. He had the honour of being chosen Co-valedictorian for his MAcc graduating class, and placed fifth in Ontario and thirteenth in Canada in his Uniform Final Exam (UFE) in 1993.
From 1991 until 1998, Chris held the position of Senior Manager, International Tax with Arthur Andersen in Toronto.
He is currently Managing Director at Onex Corporation in Toronto. He has represented Onex as a director on several boards, including Onex Credit Parnters, Cineplex Odeon Corporation, Lantic Sugar, Rogers Sugar, and Magellan Health Services.
Chris and his wife Claire have two beautiful young daughters. He is an avid golfer and wine enthusiast.
