Geoff Hayes, MAcc, CA

Geoff received his BA in Accounting, as well as his MAcc degree from UW in 2004. After graduation, Geoff worked as a Senior Consultant with the Forensic and Dispute Services Group of Deloitte & Touche; and then as a Manager of Business and Assurance Controls at Magna Entertainment Corporation. Geoff is currently working with Barrick Gold as the Manager of Business Planning and Analysis.

Geoff is also involved in a number of different charitable and not-for-profit organizations. In addition to being President of the UWAAA, he is also a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Finance Committee for Camp Ekon (a charitable summer camp in the Muskokas), Treasurer of his Knights of Columbus council, Vice-President of his Condo Board, and a member of the Finance Committee for St. Michael’s Cathedral.

When he is not working or volunteering his time, Geoff enjoys rock climbing, boxing/wrestling, fencing, the Toronto night scene and traveling the world.
