Mr. John Gossling was appointed Vice President – Financial Operations of Rogers Communications Inc. in May 2005. In this role, John is responsible for all day-to-day financial activities of the Rogers Group of Companies, including Rogers Cable, Rogers Media and Rogers Wireless. Prior to this appointment, John was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Rogers Wireless since July 2000.
Mr. Gossling began his career at KPMG in 1985 and, over the course of his 15 years with the firm, focused on those clients in the information, communications and entertainment industries. Immediately prior to joining Rogers, Mr. Gossling was a Partner in KPMG’s US Capital Markets Group, based in New York and London, England, assisting telecom and other companies to complete initial public offerings and securities filings in the United States.
Mr. Gossling is originally from Toronto and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1989. He was awarded the gold medal for his mark in the CA exam. Mr. Gossling holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo.
