Paul Langill, MAcc, CA

Paul was appointed Senior Vice President, Trading Risk and Trading Risk Operations at TD Bank Financial Group in October 2007. He is responsible for the oversight of all trading risk related functions. He leads the team responsible for Market Risk Control, Quantitative Analytics, and the Global Middle Office.

Paul was recently the Chief Financial Officer, TD Securities. As CFO, Paul was responsible for Financial reporting, planning and management, strategic business analysis and support, treasury and capital management. As a member of TD Securities’ Management Committee, Paul played a key role on the firm’s senior leadership team.

Paul joined the finance department at TD in 1998 and has gained extensive finance expertise and experience during his 9-year career. Prior to joining TD, Paul was a Partner in the International Capital Markets practice of Ernst & Young in Toronto.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Accounting from the University of Waterloo. He is accredited with the CA designation.

Paul was honoured as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2007.
