exploring the field of business ethics. A talented and inspirational young mind that can help shape our future.
The Estey Competition is a great opportunity for students, who have demonstrated an interest in business or accounting/finance ethics, to submit a research paper for a chance to win $500 and present their paper at the 2013 Canadian Academic Accounting Association (CAAA) annual meeting. All eligible students are encouraged to speak with his/her professor to submit their research papers for review.

Eligibility:
This competition is an excellent opportunity for students to expand their interests in business, accounting and finance ethics. It also provides them with a fantastic chance of winning $500 and the opportunity to present their research at the Canadian Academic Accounting Association Annual Meeting.
The Centre for Accounting Ethics, University of Waterloo will undertake to do all it can to honour successful students. In the past, the Centre has recognized and honoured the winning student as well as his/her university and excellent runners-up. The student winner, his/her university, and professor will be recognized and honoured at the CAAA Annual Meeting and will have his/her research paper summary appear in the CAAA Newsletter.
In memory of
The Honourable Willard Z. Estey
The late Hon. W.Z. Estey, retired Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada and former Chief Justice of Ontario, was widely respected for his integrity and commitment to justice. Mr. Justice Estey actively supported higher education and was a founding advisor to the Centre for Accounting Ethics at the University of Waterloo.
