The IT Diploma Programs are innovative graduate programs in the School of Accounting and Finance at the University of Waterloo .

The Diploma in Business Information Technology is designed to develop professionals with a business-oriented approach to IT strategy and implementation.

The Diploma in Information System Assurance is designed to develop professionals with expertise in information systems audit, control and security.

News

May 2008. The IT Alliance has announced that it will invest in future CA*ITs by funding their first course in the IT Diploma Program.

May 2006. The Diploma in Business Information Technology has been accredited by the CICA’s IT Alliance. Chartered Accountants who complete the diploma program will have met the education requirement for obtaining the CA·IT specialist designation.

April 2006. The first offering of the IT Diploma Programs commences in September 2006.
